8051 Water Level controller
In this project, Am going to do a water level controller using the 8051 microcontroller which will be used to monitor the level of water over the head tank and switch on the pump when the level goes below the expected level.
In this project, we are going to control the level of water in the water tank. 5 LEDs will be used as indicators to show the status of the water level and the pump will be switched of automatically immediately the it becomes full. The level sensor probe are interfaced on the port two of our microcontroller passing through a transistor. A positive voltage probe is inserted down to the bottom of the tank Other probes for different water levels eg a quarter, half tank and maybe three-quarters are inserted with equal spacing above the bottom sensor. The top most probe is connected to the base of the transistor Q4 through R16. I have attached the circuit diagram for more information.
