In this video we briefly introduce Artificial Intelligence, also known as AI. What exactly is it, and how does it work?
For a hands-on experience with AI we use the AIY Vision Kit from Google. This low-cost and easy-to-build kit containing a Raspberry Pi Zero, a camera module and a small image processing add-on board allows you to experiment with AI vision applications like face detection, emotion recognition, and object classification.
Can it find humans, dogs and cats in photographs? Trigger an event only when it sees a smiling face? As you will see, it all comes down to models to make this happen. To create your own AI models, check out TensorFlow.
